INGREDIENTS: Pastry: Pastry flour, vegetable shortening, eggs, water, sugar, vinegar, salt. Filling: Raspberries, sugar, flour, butter, lemon juice.

HOW TO MAKE:

Our pies are made by hand in our kitchen in Rosemont, Ontario. We select only the finest fresh and local produce.

Large Pie (64 oz.): Preheat oven to 375°F. Remove packaging and place pie on a foil lined tray. Bake for 15 mins. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F and bake for 45 mins. Check temperature. Continue cooking in 15 min. intervals until food reaches an internal temperature of 140°F. Remove from oven and let pie sit for 1 hr. before slicing. Serve with Kawartha Dairy ice cream or whipped cream.


For best results, cook from frozen.

Filling

Wonderful raspberry flavour but the filling was not throughly mixed. My first piece was so sour ( lemon juice used but sugar was not evident). Next slice next day much better. So just mix the wonderful ingredients better!
