Rosemont Honey is about as local as it gets!

This honey is from our small Apiary located 3 km from Rosemont General Store. The hives are surrounded by organic alfalfa, wildflowers, and a mixture of local, seasonal plants. 

This year the harvest was done on September 17^th, 2023, and is a single harvest to preserve a mixture of flavours and colours – which is why you will sometimes see variation from jar to jar!

The combination of garlic and honey creates a potent mixture that is rich in antioxidants and has antimicrobial properties. Fermenting the garlic in honey enhances its nutritional benefits, making it even more effective in supporting the immune system and aiding digestion

We hope that you enjoy it as much as we do – the applications are endless, such as in marinades or dressing or drizzled over roasted veggies, and a spoonful with some lemon in hot water is always a treat!

$1 of the cost of this product is a jar deposit that can be refunded with the return of any mason jars
